And Speaking of Icons....
This yesterday from the Dallas Morning News on Putin, iconographer Vladimir Grigorenko and The Icon that Wasn't.
I read that article this morning, what a wonderful story of standing firm in the faith.
And, interesting that TIME, who had a great article on Putin written by a Russophile journalist who had spent many years there, was so unaware of the correct usage of Iconography.
Bravo. Putin is a professional politician, who has mastered the art of the possible -- a deserving man of the year (IMO). But is not a Saint (yet) -- we are all called to become "Isa Apostalos" (equal to the Apostles).
