Our little Orthodox mission here in East Texas has recently updated its website,
here. Fr. John and Mat. Christie have done an extraordinary job with this. I am excited about it and anxious for others to visit the site. Of course, the real excitement comes from occasions like the one pictured here.
Awesome! Thanks be to God!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, John. We just recieved five at our Mission Sunday. Nothing like it!
ReplyDeleteGlory to God!
ReplyDeleteThanks and praise be to God!
ReplyDeleteAnd a great idea to have a discussion on a book...if an ocean didn't separate me I'd be there Wednesday night! :)
Yes, Glory to God! We received 4on this occasion: 2 by baptism and chrismation and 2 by chrismation (one being my son)--plus 1 by chrismation back in Nov. when he was home on leave.
ReplyDeleteAlso, for David Bryan,
On this occasion, our mutual friend Zach was the sponsor for my son at his chrismation, and I, in turn, had the great honor to be the sponsor for Zach's brother at his chrismation.
How awesome that your son was received. Many years! We really miss Zach, Lindsey, and their kids at our parish, but am glad they are at the new mission.
