It seemed so anti-Christian that I was caught off-guard (happily so) by Cordelia's reversal at the end. But I think most people will miss the point.Meadowlark Dayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17335888132960472805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18762198.post-86247891985017868032008-08-22T05:34:00.000-07:002008-08-22T05:34:00.000-07:00For Powell, you definitely need to read "Dance to ...For Powell, you definitely need to read "Dance to the Music of Time." The only problem is, it is 12 volumes! Generally, the series is lumped into 4 volumes of 3 books each. I enjoyed the ITV TV mini-series which I rented from the local video store. I was hoping to see the film, when it comes out here in October or November -- but perhaps I should stick to the book and the mini-series.

I may also have to look up Anthony Powell; any suggestions of what of his to read, for an ignoramus in the area?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18762198.post-52655226486989692292008-08-20T10:05:00.000-07:002008-08-20T10:05:00.000-07:00It is my Book Club's selection this month, I've no...It is my Book Club's selection this month, I've not read it yet, but am looking forward to it.

Then, I'm planning on watching the PBS version and skipping the new movie.Mimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02645484704486562810noreply@blogger.com
